A business partnership called Farm2Rail Inc. recently announced it’s in the preliminary stages of developing a 300-acre, multi-loop rail facility near St Charles, Minn. The facility will provide shippers in southeastern Minnesota better access to “the economic and environmental benefits of shipping agricultural-related freight by rail,” Farm2Rail officials said in a prepared statement.
