North Dakota/Minot Intermodal Shipping Information
Agriculture and other exporters and importers in North Dakota
and the Northern Plains region now have inland intermodal container shipping
services available at the North
Dakota Port Services intermodal rail yard in Minot, North Dakota.
BNSF Logistics LLC is
providing freight consolidation and logistics coordination for shipping for
the intermodal container yard operated by NDPS. BNSF Logistics’ role
is to coordinate container freight so that full, unit train economic benefits
and efficiencies are achieved to enable competitive shipping costs for shippers.
BNSF Logistics provides service
is to all shippers, small and large.
- For other freight forwarding and logistics providers interested in arranging shipping through the Minot intermodal facility, non-disclosure agreements can be negotiated upon request with BNSF Logistics.
- Transloading services for bulk grain and agricultural products is also available from truck to container on site provided by the North Dakota Port Services rail yard operations.
