Grain Transloading Service Providers

Grain transloading firms provide a valuable service to Upper Midwest bulk commodity and specialty IP grain shippers and exporters. Transloaders handle grain shipped to them by rail or truck in bulk or bagged form, and then transload the grain into containers for delivery to the ports for export on container ships.

Midwest Bulk Transload provides transloading services to the grain and feed export industry for Midwest area exporters. Midwest Bulk Transload is located in Joliet, Illinois near Chicago, and able to access containers and serve the nearby the BNSF Logistics Park and UP Global 4 intermodal shipping yards. Midwest Bulk is served by a CN Rail line connection and can provide rail car and container loading service to all area railroads, including UP, BNSF and CN. Mac-Piper handles wheat, peas and lentils, soybeans, corn, DDGS and other grains and oilseeds, and also handles a wide range other both export and import cargoes.
