MSA Application Information
To qualify as a regular member of MSA, a firm must be a producer, processor, grain elevator firm, or other agricultural business or group, located in the upper Midwest region states of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa or Wisconsin. To qualify as an associate, non-voting member, a firm must be engaged in agribusiness, in agricultural shipping and transportation, or grain industry and agricultural service sectors, with the understanding that MSA activities are in direct support of Upper Midwest agriculture. Grain industry firms located outside of the five state region, but who do business with producers and processors located in the region qualify as associate, non-voting members.
Annual Membership Investment
(January 1 - December 31)
Industry Members
- Individual Producer - $150
- Grower/Seed Supplier - $300
- State/Local Agribusiness - $500 - Including processors, traders, country elevators and other agribusinesses
- Regional Agribusiness - $1,000 - Including agribusinesses with several locations in more than one state.
- National/Multinational Agribusiness - $2,000
Associate (Non-voting) Members:
- Associate - $500- Includes transportation and logistics companies, grain industry quality control and grain supplier firms, banking and export financial service companies, state agencies and research institutions, out-of-region agribusiness companies that do business with growers in region.
- Foreign Food Industry Buyers - (voluntary) - $150
